We believe in helping find a safe and secure place to call home for those in the most challenging circumstances — from victims of natural disasters to those who have been neglected or abused, and veterans looking to rebuild their lives.

At KB Home, everything we do is Built on Relationships. That’s why we believe that every action we take — from how we care for our communities to how we safeguard the planet, has the potential to make a positive impact for everyone. Our KB Cares program is one way we put that ideal into action

FOCUS: SHELTER
A roof over every head
FOCUS: SUSTAINABILITY & ENVIRONMENT
Sustainable futures
We believe that when creating new homes and communities, it’s not just our responsibility to limit our footprint on the planet. We strive to ensure that our physical environment remains clean and beautiful for the enjoyment of everyone, for generations to come.
FOCUS: COMMUNITY
Thriving communities
We’re not just building homes, we’re creating communities. That’s why we invest in the well-being of those who live in the areas where we build, which means cultivating social connections and caring for people in need.
FOCUS: CONSTRUCTION SKILLS AND EMPLOYMENT
A foundation for the next generation
We’re dedicated to training future builders with the skills and expertise needed to build careers for themselves while advancing our industry’s ability to make those dreams come true.
Impactful partnerships
Our philosophy of making a difference in our local communities extends to our partnerships. From helping those in the most challenging circumstances find shelter to working with a nonprofit to plant trees in our national forests and building new homes for military families, KB Home is honored to collaborate with a wide variety of organizations.
Sackcloth & Ashes
Sackcloth & Ashes produces beautifully crafted, eco-friendly blankets, and donates a blanket to a local homeless shelter for every blanket purchased by KB Home as a special housewarming gift for new homeowners. No matter where you are in your life, whether putting down roots or in transition, a blanket represents so much more than warmth. It’s security, shelter, comfort and hope.
National Forest Foundation
The National Forest Foundation is a congressionally chartered nonprofit working to promote the health and public enjoyment of the National Forest System. KB Home is working alongside National Forest Foundation to support their efforts, including the replenishment and preservation of National Forests — a uniquely American legacy of public lands.
Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors
Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors (JAH4WW) is a nonprofit organization created for the sole purpose of raising money to build or modify homes for America’s injured military veterans.
